Well,
we did it.
Like many bands across the country, we travelled
to Austin, Texas to participate in what may very well be the largest music and
film festival in the world; South by South West. Commonly known as SXSW, the
festival is by no means a walk in the park for those who wish, and can find a
venue or two, to perform their music/film/whatever they so desire to whomever
they can. Think of it as Times Square on New Years kinda busy, with Burbon
Street Mardi Gras celebration mixed comfortably with almost an auctioneers speed
at which to hustle your pa-tootie from one place to the next!
Did
you all like it? Of course we did!
Did
The Unday do what you had set out to do? Failure was not an
option. We do what we do best. We make music. Then we made contacts, and we
networked… Yeah, it was successful.
Did
things go as planned? Really? Since when in your life have
things gone just as planned?
Would
you do it again? Gladly, with
valuable experience from this time to be a little better prepared for what is
to come.
